CF-9001 smearing. Machine has only 25K on the clock. Copies are smearing, the reason is the fur brush roller staying engaged thereby wiping the copy on the transferdrum. It seems a mechanical issue, it looks like that the clutch doesn't transfer enough torque to overcome the resistance of the cams and therefore the cams stay up keeping the brush engaged. There is a slight grinding noise when firing up the copier, obviously coming from the clutch slipping against a resistance. Time was short so I could not find out yet if the clutch was weak/slipping or something in the cam/brush mechanism binding. Did anybody have similar experiences? Hans

If my memory serves me, I had this problem on a CF-900. I believe it's just a matter of making sure everything is clean in the mechanism that moves the cleaner towards the transfer drum. Also clean the shafts and bushings that the unit pivots on.the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.
