Quick question, how does one replace the DF-624 rollers, the C280 series is easy, but on this model do I need to remove the left door/cover etc!?

Thanks

Yes you have to open/remove the cover to get to the upper roller assy. It's similar to the 423 series ADF, I've done so many of these taking them apart. But I agree the c280 doc feeds are easier(once you figure them out) to take apart.

They made the cassette rollers nice & easy to replace, yet they made the DF time consuming!!!!!

Actually, you dont have to remove any covers for 423 upper feed roller.

No such model as a C281

Sure it's that new model with improved reduced toner and paper consumption and the ability to save electricity by keeping the machine unplugged from the wall.
