We just put about 200 Bizhub 250's in my area. The install is about 1 month old. About 12 of them went out in the first week with an abort code for the scanner that required the power supply to be changed. One more power supply was changed when it went completely dead, and I have changed 2 MFB's and had to repair what seemed to be a control panel board that was warped causing the buttons to stick. The 500's and 600's don't seem to have issues so far. Is this a sign of things to come? Am I going to miss my 2510's and 3010's that got replaced? Some of them went 3 years without a work order.

The 500's are a total joke IMO. Fuser gears constantly strip out. Still having problems with toner bottle not rotating (C2403 code). Haven't had alot of electrical problems. The 600 seems to be a pretty reliable machine.

we have had no problesm with the 250 series. (Knocks on wood)

The 500 c2403 codes we fixed with the front panel groove piece you glue on. If the bottles two notches have been stripped get a new bottle. never replaced the springs on the front or any of the holders in the back. The fuser gears have never stripped, got part numbers so I can get some in stock? 500's toner system is pretty dang stupid.
