C35 Unable to Copy/Scan off the Platen Glass

Hello All,
I have a KM-C35 that my client is unable to copy or scan from the platen glass.
I have searched the forums and the KM data base to no avail.
Does any one have any insight to this issue?

there is no error message at all.
When a page is placed on the platen glass and they press the start button, the message on the screen is to place documents in the DocFeeder.
I am thinking that its a setting some where, but am unable to locate anything.

This issue is now solved.
Turns out the end user have the original type set to Letter/Legal, with this setting it is impossible to copy off the platen glass.
