Can someone please point me to a list of error codes for the KM Bizhub 363? Specifically, an explanation of what 'CONT' refers to. Also, if someone can provide the steps to print the fax activity report for this same machine, I would be extremely grateful.

CONT means that the TX/RX was interrupted at some point, but then it repeats the communication to fulfill the fax. This is a good thing as otherwise the fax would not be complete. With some switching phone lines, this can be a big problem. Also with digital lines. Check your line voltage (std analog is 48 DCV) and polarity. You can turn up your attenuation to improve communication. Also, if you can pinpoint where in the com it happened, you can adjust timers to give it more time to exchange signals. I turn on the service fax report to get better info as to what's going on. Also, find out if it's happening from one device or in one area as I've seen Long Distance Area issues. There's a bunch more stuff, but this should get you in the ballpark.

Thank you very much for the link. I saved this to my favorites for future reference. However, these are not the error codes to which I was referring. I was looking for a definition of 'CONT' of which Specialist provided a very nice explanation above. I provide remote support, so I am at the mercy of what my customers relay to me and, of course, no mention of error codes on the display screen has been mentioned. It took a while to help them print a fax activity report and I think the poor woman printed it from a different machine!

I spent half the day yesterday Googling various 'fax activity reports' and was never able to find anything on 'CONT'.
