Hi,

i have a Konica Minolta Bizhub C451 and its displaying the error C-3101. I have replaced the Fuser Unit and the M29 motor that drives the Fuser but when ever I turn the machine on it still makes a loud noise and comes up with the error. Any help will be appreciated?

Hi,
i don't really know these machines but have you checked the transfer belt? Worth a look to see if it's jammed or not seated right.
paul.

There is an issue on this model with the waste toner pipe getting blocked, this causes a loud "machine gun" type sound, might be the issue you're having, search this forum.

Please reinstall the fusing drive unit and the exit drive unit and confirm the installation of the driving units. Replace the gear (p/n A00J 2355 00) if it is
damaged (stripped) by the worm motor (p/n A00J R749 00).

Broken key on the backside of Guide Plate/Rear. This is the guide that the fuser sits in at the rear.Replace Guide Plate/Rear (p/n A00J 1026 00 ).

It is usually the gear that wears as it binds and gets ripped out by the retraction motor.

i hope this helps

Hey Guys,

I just had this call yesterday.

A00JR75800 Fusing drive unit needs to be replaced.

See page 58 in the parts book...the bushing 4036252401 has worn out.

That is item 22 on the parts page.

The gear shaft jumps up and down, causing a very loud popping noise

You can examine this by removing the fuser unit, then check the 2nd smaller gear that drives the fuser.

Enjoy the process.
