When the Magenta Dev Unit died, what error code appear on the machine?

Does C-2422 ??

2422 means there is something wrong there and there are lots of possibilities besides just junking the unit. I would dump the unit and try fresh developer first.

Main reason to replace the Dev Units on a C6500 is just too many cycles. Check the counters, they say to replace at 600K but most will go to a million. After that if there are problems of any type, codes or image quality, its time for a new part.

Problem solved by replacing the Magenta Developer DV610M

The counter said its been only 20,000, but machine was totally off for 2 years

Will change the C and Y as well.

I paid Original Konica Minolta from its dealer for $170 per unit .
Question:
when you put the new developer does the machine take the whole package ?
Mine still have left over, I stopped until it said fully charged successful.
should I repeat to force it to fill it more ?
