C353-- copying copy protected checks

I have an accountant that needs to copy checks, that they are depositing

copies reg checks and everything just fine.

but the checks with the silver foil box.. display says protected document and copies a full black sheet of paper

I have a C352 in shop that doesn't have this prob.

I have seen a C452 do this, but thought it printed when in black mode

any suggestions would be great

I copied a money bill on a C350 that was almost passable. There must be a list of copy protected items out there somewhere. Try taking a photo and printing it?

Try enlarging it a little

Or reduce it.

Most will allow money and non copied checks if they are smaller.
Then recopy enlarged to full size.
