Hi, I am printing both sides of an A3+ sheet. The first side is perfect, but when I turn the sheet over and print the other side I am getting a double image or "slurring" of the original image and I cannot see what the issue is in the printer. The black drum is clean.

I have put 4 sheets in the bypass tray - two were blank and the other two had one side printed already. The first two are perfect, but the image that has been printed on side has this blurring effect on it.

I print the first side as thick 1 (120gsm Pro-design) and when i print the other side I use the Thick 4 setting. I have tried different permutations and still the double image happens.

Desperately need to get to the bottom of this issue if anyone can help.

I have attached a jpeg of the second side (which I hope will upload ok)

Many thanks

Cappy

1st thing to check is...has the second transfer roller guide insulation mod being applied? (Sawtooth mylar fitted)

2nd Is ...do you tell the bypass that the paper is being duplexed...ie printed as a second side?

3rd Why are you changing the paper thickness when doing the second side? Same stock was used for the first side?

4th.....are the consumables/toner genuine? Fuser Life?

Regards

Minimerlin.
