Ops Panel Bizhub C224e & C654e

Can anyone help, i have two modals C224e & C654e where the panel loses the back light , you can just see the display buttons but there is no responce from the touchscreen , only way to recover is switch machine Off & On again.

On the C654e i have replaced the ops panel , but fault is still there.

This is a firmware issue, place K2 firmware and it should be solved.

After hundreds of these e series going out the door, we have not had a single issue with the control panels. The non e series was a different animal, I surmise the sliding action caused something in the harness to break. If you have the buttons lit, but not even 1 "fin" come up, I don't think it's a panel problem. If you attempt to update firmware, or enter the trouble reset mode, will the panel come to life? If so you have some board or power supply problem. Emujo


Edit:: Re read your post and missed the fact that the "Icons" are there. Just the backlight isn't working. Sorry
