View Full Version : bizhub 4050 scan to email. SMTP, unable to change port.

Have one of these Bizmarks or Lexhubs, or what ever this thing is 4050. Trying to set up scan to email, customer's SMTP uses port 587 over TLS, however when entering the settings in pagescope the port goes back to 465. I've updated firmware to no avail and tried this on three other machines with same effect. Anyone run into this?

Also almost forgot to mention these machines have "bizhub secure" set on. Could this be effecting it?

Yes this is a known issue. You could also, for example, change the DNS info and it will not hold the changes.

Just go into the Maintenance tab of the web interface and perform a network reset. Then do a hard reboot.

Did the network reset fix the problem ?

I do not remember now. I believe it did, but it was a while back. I don't even remember where the machine is. In the tech world things can move at a fast pace and can blur into the next thing, that you'll forget something sooner rather quickly. If I recall anything else useful I'll post it here.
