Functions normally. I have done tests on equipment and after process adjustments, showed a positive result.

All the Konica b/w machines uses the same developer type. I use DV511 instead of DV710 on the B600 type machines, it seems like the machine is ok running on a little less developer. It lasts just as long as the DV710 and it puts less stress on the devtank. You can get up to 200K on a bag.

So some guys will use TN710 to fill up B1250 bottles. The generic toner i use works very well and you can save a lot of money with the right stuff, or u can use KATUN if you hate yourself.

The toner mix could be different because of the engine speed it needs to melt and set faster for quicker machines.

allan, thanks for your answer.

but, when you use another toner, not OEM, other "compatible" / generic brand do you have to modify any settings in service mode?

thanks again!

Its brandless and comes from Europe. I think its manufactured by a company called GHS.
We get it from a supplier that imports the stuff. There drums and parts are good aswell.

thank you!

I cannot find this brand here.

I'm afraid I have to improvise. I must choose between katun and OEM.

I will try to use OEM toner for bizhub 950.

Running 920/950 and now 1051 and 1200/1250 for years, i would not use toner down but up may be ok...

I know for sure that 920/950 toner is the same and works just fine in fact we modified the toner hopper to use either toner on any type of 920/950....

we did the same for the 1051/1200/1250... having a mixed bag of the machines...

I would not skimp on Developer... its not worth replacing all consumables over $50-$100...

I have also found that these machines run much better with high volume - for a small business environment i would stay away from production machines...
go with the smaller slower 651 and 751 or a color machine...

less head aches...
