Hi,
I have a Konica Minolta 362 and I need to do a full reset on the machine in service mode.
the machine receives faxes ok, and sends to local numbers ok, but when I try and send to interstate or to 1300 numbers it's keeps saying wait and eventually redial and report comes back NG. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you really think that will help? If it were me, I would try different settings for ECM, transmission start speed, and equalization. =^..^=

Thanks for your reply
where would I check these settings?
I just wanted to make sure that all settings are back to default

This reset you desire is like using a sledge hammer on a loose screw. Better to check these settings individually. You don't have a manual? It took me exactly 10 seconds to find a service manual using Google, here: ftp://195.91.159.71/ineo%20222%20282%20362/Doc/SM/362_282_222_Theory%20of%20Operations.pdf
Another thing I don't do, is I don't read manuals to persons perfectly capable of reading for themselves. RTFM. =^..^=

Machines arent usually that choosy, phones lines can be though, Have you hooked up a regular telephone to see if you can dial those long distance numbers manually?

i know that was my thought as well. There was a Toshiba connected previously and that was dailing to interstate and 1300 numbers fine.

I'd still try the phone thing myself first. And then go from there.
