    HL-L9310CDW

We have a customer that has a HL-L9310CDW with optional LT340CL paper tray. When using this tray it jams quite often with "jam tray 2 & no paper feed tray 2" messages. the paper on feeds about 1" when it jams. It never jams out of tray 1. I called brother, which was pleasant, and they said the accessories had no warranty and I don't see anything on brothers web site about it. They have only had it about 9 months. I have not taken it apart or anything yet because I thought it had a warranty. Any suggestions if I'm gonna have to repair it myself ?
    Thanks,
    Dave

Size and weight are correct, 20lb/letter. Cleaned rollers. I dont remember the page count, the total on the machine is 18k.

Ok.. option tray has backside where you can look and see paper feed area.. watch it.. does paper rise for a while and drop? I believe on left side of cassette there are white gears.. the moon shaped gear is slipping..
That is true.. not much warranty on those trays

The backside of the tray is solid on this one and I can't see the feed rollers.
