I've reset toner counters on this model and drum, transfer counters on other Brother models,
but I cant figure out how to reset the Fuser or Laser unit counters on this model and the reset process
for other models doesn't work on this model MFC-L9550cdw

Maintenance mode try either 84 or 88 for parts life reset.
Usually comes up PF kit first, use arrow to scroll to fuser and laser then o.k then yes or start

How do I get into 84 or 88?
Put the machine into maintenance mode as you would with any Brother product then use maintenance 84 or 88.
If you do not know how to access maintenance mode let me know
I'm not sure, but is that the hold down the 6 and 2 thing?
