DCP-8050DN toner won't reset

Glad you worked out this one. Kudos Phil pointed right one.

I know at one time I HAD the SM/PL for THAT model.. now poof.

But did find out the Dev reset on MANY models over rides the " replace toner " even on the early color/mfp units.

Yeah. I came across the SM for the 8040, 8060 and maybe another one. Figured I could figure SOMEthing out between them.

It's my personal printer that my wife got for free from work, so, I wasn't so concerned.
