MFC-L3710CW scanner chatter

I'm having an issue when turning machine on. if I move the 1st cis it will come back to home but then the motor keeps going causing a chattering noise. I removed the top and and can not for the life of me find a home position sensor. Then i get SCAN UNABLE AF-OO. Any help would be appreciated

Replace CIS.
