A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

After 28 years in this industry. 20 as a tech, 8 as help desk and software support for FMAudit and MPS Monitor, today is my last day. This forum has been an invaluable resource for me over the years.
I’m going to work in the automotive aftermarket for a classic car restoration shop. Quite a change. I’ve been a car guy my whole life and I couldn’t pass up this opportunity.
I wish all of you all the best.
Congratulations on breaking free of the copier industries. Must of us are lifers.
I'm sure that you'll be successful in your new career. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Part time retired. OK more retired than part time.
If all else fails read the Service Manual!
If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it, maybe, probably not we are at the pub!
First job was electric shavers, back when people fixed things instead of just throwing them away. Then 8 years on nav systems for Phantom fighter jets. Unfortunately, vacuum tube tech didn't translate well into the civilian sector, so I went looking for anything electromechanical. This seemed like a pretty good fit. That was... hmmm... 34 years ago I think? Wow. What I didn't realize was how much hand-holding would be involved ("No you are NOT crazy, it is the machine", that sort of thing). Biggest challenge now is getting to and from work, traffic around here has really skyrocketed since the end of covid, especially in the last 4 months.
