wow not a lot of info that we need to advise you:

what brands do you work on?

    soft side / hard case?

besides the lapper. what special tools will you need? ie: net cables.. hub....phone set?

how many reg tools do you carry?

    snap-on type screwdriver w/ tips?

    torx bits?

you really need to state WHAT you carry in the bag as opposed to what "bag" should I carry?

Personally I carry 3 different bags for the different type machines/duties I have to perform.

It has two sides - double zipper. The picture doesn't show it. I have another bag in the car that carries more stuff. So far I haven't needed anything that I don't have.

PS - I only work on one brand so that cuts down on what I need.

PSS - It also has a 3rd compartment that is rather large with a velco flap that I use for my cleaning fluids & rags. The picture doesn't do it justice.

i have backpack one now, been at this for 28 years, i dont need 3 bags, only 2, 1 is small and for prison. less is better for prison copiers. just looking at ideas for one with laptop. we have a tech that has one but its one that rolls around and is a little to big. just carry basics, springhooks, few phillips a few flat heads small and long, pliers small flashlight and meter. I work on canon, Oce titan, ricoh, hp and Lexmark.

Then Billy's suggestion would fit the bill I would say.

I don't do the tool purse thing.
Craftsman 59627 - Sit/Stand/Tote Truck | American Freight (Sears Outlet)
But I also work on a fuk ton of different and large equipment.
Everything from copiers you can tuck under your arm to folder inserters the size of a truck.

Toner vac fits in this, tools on the top, parts boxes and laptop stacks on it and it makes a nice seat.
Unfortunately, it's been discontinued so if you see it available somewhere, let me know.

I am still in love with my Tech Pack (backpack) from Veto Pro-Pac. Yes, they are expensive. Yes, they are heavy even when empty. But it is easily the best, most durable, tool bag I've found.
