Looking for opinions or comments on working on Xerox mfps or working for Xerox direct. I've recently gotten a job offer from Xerox.

Xerox usally hires starting you as a contractor. You follow all the rules but for less pay and benfits but not Xerox. You go through all Xerox training that is very good and only work on models your trained on. Sometimes they will hire if an opening for work ie guy retires but not guarantee.

There dispatching is world class and also parts. Any part overnighted by 10:30.

You will always be employed under the fear that one day you will wake up on the wrong side of a corporate spreadsheet that requires them to dispose of a certain number of employees quickly.

As big contracts come and go so do employees.

Now isn't this true considering the field as a whole? Companies small and large do this I feel.
