How does your company compensate techs that are on call? For example, we may have an account that wants service until 10pm. The techs that are on call from 5pm until 10pm, are they getting paid just for being on call?

Yes companies pay for you to be on call and pay more if you have to go to an onsite job.

Every company pays different but you should get pay even if you get no calls.

We had a weekly schedule that rotated tech's.

Think it was 100.00 a week on call than time and half for a service call. Time would start from home to return home.
