jam 1101 irA c5560i with inner finisher h1

    kinda stumped...

The paddle unit intermittently drops when its not suppose to(single and duplex). There seems to be a one way cam its attached to. Anyone ran into this? I searched, results were not related to H1.

I know it's four years later, but I got a report from a user that they're having this same issue on an IR ADV 5560 with an inner finisher H1 machine i service. The paddle drops when it's not supposed to. I'm going to check it out hopefully in the next day or two. Do you recall if there was a resolution to this paddle issue on the inner finisher H1?

    Thanks,
    Bret

    Change Service mode Level 2 > SORTER > OPTION > FIN-SP1 > Bit 1, Change from 0 to 1. Example 00000010.

removing excess grease from Paddle Cam area.

If 1101 jams still occur after these actions, change the Paddle Drive Assembly.

If the Paddle Drive Assembly does not resolve the 1101 jams then change the Processing Tray Assembly.

    Thanks Giogi,

I looked up this option (SORTER > OPTION > FIN-SP1) in the service manual and it is very non-descriptive. It just says it is a finisher special setting.

I could try this, but I would like to know some more about this option before I change it, if possible. Are you able to provide any more information on this setting that you may have?

    Thanks again.

sorry I do not know the specificationsMy info is a European KB

    Anyway, try it quietly.
reboot the device and test it.
if you don't solve it, set the parameter back to 0.

Ok thanks very much. I will try this as soon as I can. Might not be soon because I don't get to this machine often.
