    Print Margins Imagepress C800

    Hi,

Working with a image press c800 and the print margins on the spec sheet say this:

    MARGINS.jpg

But when I print my margins seem a lot larger, i already checked the lead and trail edge and image is centered and even. The large margins is out of all the trays.

Is there a way to change the print margins?

    Thanks!

Yes, i did look at the lead edge and that's ok.

The margin i'm talking about is the print margin the machine takes when printing.

I'm sure this is just a default setting but my c800 is taking a larger print margin.

Look at image position adjustment under installation of the machine in the service manual.

thanks, i looked at that and did a test print.

See the black image the test print is correct and the margins are to specs.

But when i print out of any tray i get a larger margin - see the yellow print out

Is there a global change for this, don't know why its printing like that..Thanks

Is your print driver defaulted to "Fit Image"? A standard LTR image will be reduced ~96% when sent as "Fit ...". If you want exactly the same size select "Same size as original" or 100%. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I checked the driver and its set to print at 100%

"Your non - image areas are different than your leading edge_trail edge" - But is this a global setting in service mode?

    Service Manual

    Adjustments
    page 986/7 > 1071 = 85 pages of situations to check

    starts with
    BASIC -47 pages
    When Replacing Parts- 37 pages
    When Clearing Ram- 1 page

i would look at Basic -- grab a six pak/ find a lounge chair

    Re: Print Margins Imagepress C800

so i printed a sheet from the glass, and the margins come out correct.

So i checked the fiery, to see if there was a setting increasing the margins but no luck..

But seems like the printing from the fiery is increasing the margins strange..

we are using the G100 server..

    Thanks for all the info..
