Hi ,
After switching power my Canon IR 3230 No display. Its looks like dead
Do you mean after "switching power on" or "switching" power supply board?
It's been awhile but think no display has somewthing to do with the HDD or system software. Also think bad or missing ROM would cause this.
POSTERS PLEASE PROVIDE MORE DETAIL IF YOU WANT HELP !!!!
i have same problam with ir3230 after RTC jp1 reset machine gets start but after 1 minut everythings goes off
pls help what to do now Green light is still on
Recovery procedure done Turn off the main power switch and short out across the 2 contacts [A] of JP1 on the main controller PCB for
approx. 1 second using a conductor wire or other.
(This will reset the register value to the default.)
pls help
For me it looks like LVPS or HVPS issue.
Try minimal configuration or with opened all doors (this will cut off all bigger electrical circuits). Better is to remove fuser, ITB, drums, devs.
This way you eliminate any short circuit in consumables or grounding problem.
So next step I will do is measuring a voltage on connectors. If you have a service manual you can check a correct values. Lastly, do you have any other working machine? It is possible to exchange a boards and power supplies between them. It is good practice to put suspended logic boards like main controller, drum drive into. into working machine. Opposite with a power supplies - working PS to the suspended machine.
First, Very important, do not exchange main controller with additional boards on it, like serial and counters board. Them must stay in original chassis. Second, do not exchange more than one board at same time! Change one and check the machine.
If you need and want, I will search a voltage values and connectors to check for you, but tomorrow
Checklist:
1. Is 12 V output from theMain Controller PCBJ3?
2. Is 12 V supplied to theMain Controller PCBJ22?
3. Is 12 V output from theLowVoltage Power SupplyPCB J812?
4. IS AC supplied tothe AC Driver PCB J6010?
