Canon LBP5460 Error Code E0078-0001

I am having an issue with a Canon Color LBP5460 Printer. It will print 3 or 4 prints and it errors E078-0001,

Tried replacing drum and fuser unit cleaned the sensors, re-seated the cd controller connectors . I have looked for a Transfer disengagement test, not able to find that.. Any help would be appreciated

Hi i found this information:

1. Change Made When Upgrading ENGINE CONTROLLER Ver.01.06 to Ver.01.07 -> [E078-001] is rarely displayed depending on the operational environment. This failure is modified.

But i dont know where you can find this upgrade

Has anyone fixed this issue? Or found a fix? i have the same error code on my 5460.

I've dissassembled the printer almost completely, but I decided to re-assemble before getting to the bare bones pieces... Still have the issue.

Just to say that I update to the latest firmware, and the error is now gone.

I will check the printer for the next few weeks, but for now, after updating, and restarting, I'm able to print.

I forgot to mention that it is "wav" that gave me the latest firmware for this printer, and I would like to thank him for helping me!
