Hello! I have a Canon IR 1730i copier, when I put a new compatible toner for one hour it transfers the toner into the developer box, it takes too long to transfer the toner into the developer box. It is heard that it is transferring toner but it is getting very slow.Then after working a little, it starts the same way again.
Do you have any other symptoms? Light copies, etc?
Hello! No, it's just trying to transfer toner from the toner cartridge to developer box, but it's getting very slow, about one hour. No errors, no light copies.
Maybe it's time to change old developer and run calibration. How about original toner if possible?

look at all the PQ/CQ issues... 8 out of 10 times it's due to the CHEEP TONER!
This machine work only with compatible toner cartridge! An original toner cartridge has never been put. If I try with original toner ?
genuine toner
change to genuine dev powder (clean unit properly per manual)
run ALL the init/cali procedure IN THE PROPER order
then get back to us
The problem was gone with new original toner cartridge! Thanks of all!
A lesson learnt there!
