    IR6075 dumping waste toner

    Hi All
I have a IR6075 that is i think dumping waste toner onto the guide that is just after the ETB.
I have had in the past on this machine, gears broken in the waste toner drive assembly and also had the waste toner worm gear broken.
I cant find what is causing the toner to build up on that guide. It lasts for about 3 days and then starts causing marks and jamming. Opening up the cleaning assembly shows no sign of toner building up
The toner is getting hard on the guides causing the jams.

Any ideas would be much apreciated.

You must check the waste toner main drive which is mounted in the back of the machine.
    That will be your culprit.

This has been changed twice now due to the gears broken. The forst one lasted a couple of weeks and then broke.
The toner in the cleaner unit is going solid in places and causing the feedscrew to seize.
I think it is the filter in the front blocked causing the waste toner in the cleaning unit going hard.
Any one else had this problem?

I've had similar problems in the old IR-8500's. If the air filters were dirty/clogged, heat would build up inside the machine and waste toner inside the cleaning assembly would harden like small rocks. Clean/ replace the filters and make sure the machine isn't directly next to a heat source. Vac out all the hard waste toner pieces and replace any broken parts. Haven't had this problem in the newer machines though.
