    ImagePRESS C850

    Hello all,

Having problems fixing these two issues. Tried drums, devs, transfer units, swapped lasers and still no change.

Going to try DC controller next, any ideas?

    Machine has only done 1.5k.

    Thanks

I’ve had the same issue on a C7011. I solved it by removing the Developer unit, rotating it a couple of times and putting it back in. If the machine has been sitting for long time in a humid environment toner tends to “coagulate”

Thanks, genuine toner. Image is bad on the ITB, so fixing unit fine.

Does the C850 has those glass windowed rails that stay atop off the drum unit? If so, wipe it and do an Auto Adjustment

Yes but they're part of the laser units and I've had them all out.

    Cheers.

Another thing you can look at is if you made any adjustments on the gradation if that problem shows on all colors
