ok thanks man my bad...what i was wondering was the beads(carrier) i think its called developing, im really not sure if that is the proper term for it (coz in xerox we just call it beads)...but i really appreciate your reply mate..cheers

anywho has anyone done it before..i mean just refill the developer with carrier (beads , developing etc)...cause its a pain to find the whole developer here in saudi even the supposed dealer dont have it so i was wondering if what i was thinking is a possibility or not otherwise i have no choice but to wait 2 months for the spares.

Carrier aka "developing powder" can only be bought seperatly als NON_OEM, I would advice against it as I assume getting a new drum wil set you back 2 months also...

Worst case get an old dev.assy form another machine, print the specific color until the 'old' color is out..

What makes you think your developer unit is shot? you can't buy the developer powder separately it comes with a complete developer unit (prefilled)

If the developing group is slightly emptied, you can add some toner powder by hand by opening the developing group.
This powder is a mix of toner and developer.
Important not to launch COPIER > FUNCTION > INSTALL > INISET- X
The previous concentration value is stored in the machine
The copier alone will resume the correct concentration of DENS (.+ - 0%)
