    Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000

    Dear all,
unfortunatelly I've lost the note with the plotter administrator password and I don't remember it.
Altought, it was changed from the default serial number password with a customized one.

Can you help me finding a way to disable the admin password (master password ?) or to factory reset the system?

The plotter is a Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000.

Very very thank you in advance.

    Hi Phil,
    Thank you for the reply.
I tried to enter in service mode but if I try to set the admin pass the system ask me the old one.
Is there a function to reset it from service mode?

    Thank you.

    Hi canone,
    Thank you for your reply.
The password that I mean is the admin password for the remote UI. Moreover, from the remote UI it was disabled the use of the command on the control panel, so for me it's extremely important to disable this administrator password.

    Thank you.

    Re: Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000

    Hi everybody,
I talked with a friend of mine and he said me that usually there should be a "master password" for cases like this.
Do you know how can I find this master password?

    Thank you for your help.

Hello, I now have the same problem with a TX-4000. Did you find a solution back then?
