Just wanting to verify before you waste a lot of time trouble shooting.

If it was used, check the prism on the waste toner container.

don't see any I/O points for checking in manual

    I did test 2 type.
    1. Disconnect J1251 jack from dc controller pcb.
--> working machine.. but j1251 connected ps134 and ps138 and fm48 fan didnt work.

    2. Disconnect J8934 jack from ps134 waste toner full sensor.
    --> working machine.

Weird that there is no sensor check in I/O service mode for PS134.

    hello my friend..

    now Korea Seoul.. 2:53 AM!!

I was trying to sleep and suddenly came up with a test idea.

If there is no problem with the I / O, can you see if the PS134 sensor is working ? with PS134 SENSOR LED light?

So I decided to check whether the sensor lights up or not.

The test method is to turn off the lights.
Checking the PS134 sensor LED light behind the machine in the dark.

If the LED blinks, the sensor is considered to be working.

If the LED light is not visible, the sensor is bad!

I have two PS134 sensors now.

One is to think that it was a defect that was originally attached to the machine.

One purchased from China PS134 ..

I decided to test these two.

    It's my test environment.
I'll test it with the cover open like the picture.
And turn the lights off and you'll be staring at the sensor in the picture in full darkness.

I turned off the light and tried the waste toner container replacement action.
I opened the front door, pulled the rails, pulled out waste toner container, put it back in, put the rails in, closed the door, and went back and kept looking at the PS134 sensor light.

I've tested it many times, but I can't see the sensor LED light at all.

The original PS134 sensor is bad, and the PS134 purchased in China is also bad?

Today I ordered one more PS134 sensor and FM0-2770 cable assy from Canon Korea.

I'll test it again when the sensor arrives at PS134 Canon Korea.

Is the method I tested correct?

If the method I tested is correct, it seems that both PS134 sensors are bad and cannot be initialized.

my friend.. What do you think?

    reply me! ; )

    thanks!

One of those signals must go to a low when LED is blocked.
Look a diagram , test from DC side connector and not across the sensor load connector.

The 5v should drop between GD and one of those Waste signals.

    That's correct,
pin 8 is Ground * u go from that to One of those Waste signals, try the LED one, try to block/ unblock to see if a change takes place.
One may be just for p134 connection ?
Access while printer is on May be a pain.

    hello my friend..
Sorry for the late response to the test results.
Here is the information and results I finally got.

    1. harness no problem..
    2. Waste Toner Full Sensor (PS134) no problem.. <== i change NEW PARTS Sensor..

When the machine stops completely and no longer printing of "replace waste toner container"

i do reset D-CON setting.. in service mode.

The machine can now print again.

But it shows an alarm message.

'prepare waste toner container : go on print "

I think initializing D-CON seems to return to a certain point in time.

Can I think of this as a problem with the DC CONTROLLER PCB?

Is it the best solution to finally replace the DC CONTROLLER PCB?

The current state is when the machine is completely stopped and reinitialized.

    please give me your Advice^^

Thanks for Your help!! ; )
