    Canon tiered billing.

I am sure I've seen it somewhere. Where you can bill a different rate for low coverage color prints. Kyocera has it and I swear I've seen it somewhere for Canon too but I cant seem to find any documentation on it. I'm working from home for the next little bit so I dont have access to a copier at the moment.

Can anyone confirm this or am I imagining things?

    Thanks
    Lance

If u are billing off meter readings, u can set that up on control panel.
There are many settings to choose from, paper size, full color, prints, and or copies or both.

    Re: Canon tiered billing.

Well even Canon has its own method.
Not so functional but only indicative as regards toner coverage (high – medium-low)
But the MKT doesn’t push him.

    To enable hedge counting
    lev 2 COPIER>OPTION>DSPLY-SW>VC-HIST>1
    COPIER>OPTION>USER>VC-CNT > 1
    COPIER>OPTION>USER>VC-AVE > 1

    To change the thresholds
    COPIER>OPTION>USER>VC-HIGH
    COPIER>OPTION>USER>VC-LOW

Attention that not all models have this.
