just bought a few of this model and found most of them have this issue.
so far I've just serviced the fixing unit. any ideas?

Try a drum yet? If that white mark is repeating from lead to trail edge it could be the drum. If you roll the sample page up and align the white marks you will know the size of the component with the mark.
