pull fuser check for:
toner buildup on inlet plate.
check for proper sensor movement
check gearing for proper movement
we also need to know:
Total pages passed thru unit
Total pages on PM parts
Did a certified Tech preform PM's?
Is it clean in the unit?
Your User's Guide should show you how to acquire the info needed.
If you have no user guide, one can be obtained free of charge by searching the InterNet. IF you cannot find one ask, and you could receive one. ( sorry just got done watching Adam-12 )
Thanks for your reply. But where is the ps39 sensor and how do I check the movement. Any image for me to locate it.
ps39 is the reverse sensor. sometimes the sensor arm will pop of its holder. the way to check and fix is to remove the delivery unit then you can access it from the top

Hi,
You seem to be moving away from all the problem you defined.
As far as I recall, you mentioned that the paper is creasing alongside a jam. This does not make it just a sensor problem. It has to do with the obstruction of the smooth movement of the paper through the fuser unit. I'm sure that a replacement of the fuser unit will solve the problem. If that happens, then there is sure to be either:
1. a slip on the pathway through the fuser (caused by toner or dust).
2. a wear in some bushings that has opened up the pathway
3. a slight dislocation of a roller or weakening gear
4. a need for replacement of any of the press roller or the heating roller
Any one of the above will delay the movement of the paper towards ps39 to trigger a jam.
