Ir advc 5235 missing yellow color

Good day guys. This machine sometimes lost yellow color. Sometimes its fine. I already check the laser shutter motor. Transfer primary transfer roller and swap drum unit.and developing unit. I cant see any visible problem. Anyone can suggest a fix are greatly appreciated.thanks. and stay safe guys.

Would be helpful if pdf sample was shown but it sounds like plastic drive coupling

You mean the one that drives the dev. Unit? I will post the sample picture if i'll be back at costumers office.the yellow totaly gone. Even i try to print on single color yellow 0% appear but sometimes it goes back.

Its on the back of the machine look behind drums on rear frame you will see 8 drive couplings 4 x silver and 4x white

Smiley of course it's in the machine side. Remember you swaped developer units.
Sometimes it will drive, sometimes not, at the end drive will fail ultimately. Not seen in Canon, but I guess they are all the same.

If the dev couplings are good(machine and housing), check the drum dev drive assembly. The bushing gets oval shaped and you lose color intermittently. Sometimes logs E24 if I remember...pain in the butt to change this assembly color off.pdf
