Aside from them being totally different cartridges, you would need to empty the toner out of one to pour into the other one, and being if you are that cost conscious, get a compatible toner for 20 bucks off e-bay. But, let me add another NO!

Konica Minolta is the same toner from the C452 up to the 8 series.

I have never tried on a Canon.

I'm guessing you have a load of IRC 2880 toner but no longer have the machine?

If you really want to try it you can empty the 2880 toners quite easily by popping open the cap pour out onto a piece of paper etc.

Now you need to find a a way to 'top up' your 50xx bottles.

Again if you really do want to try this only do a little at first then check the print quality. I would start with the yellow.

Also if these are genuine Canon toner you could list them on ebay they still have a small value.

It is a bit of a gamble thats why I said try only a half cupful etc & check the quality before you add more.
