I was initially receiving a E602-4000 error, however I installed a new hard and reformatted it with the up-to-date firmware, and I am now receiving a E000246-002 error. Any ideas are greatly appreciated thank you.

Its a problem with the counter pcb.
When you think you have made a procedure idiot proof your company employs a better idiot.
Was it a new counter pcb?

E355-0004
Main Controller PCB (1) of this machine is different, based on print speed.
If E355-related error occurs while the copy speeds of PCB and Main Body are not the same, the detailed code “0004” is displayed at first.
On the PCB Unit, a label printed the parts number for identifying is affixed. In the service
mode (COPIER > Display > USER > SPDTYPE (Level1)), you can check the print speed of PCB installed.
"Knowledge is a source, but unfortunately ignorance is a sea."
Thanks Giogi,
After going to (COPIER > Display > USER > SPDTYPE (Level1)) I get a sprint speed of 30. What do I need to check this against?
30 matches the small printed label on the side of PCB 1
I cleared the error code and this is what is displayed in Level 1 Error Display
1. E0613-1536
2. E0732-9999
3. E0355-0004
if your machine is a 5035 it is wrong to install the MAIN controller of the 5035
