Canon E Support

[20 year tech]

Does anyone know whats going on with E Support website here in the US ? I am furloughed and not getting any info from my dealership

From what I've heard, they have multiple issues going on right now. The tropical storm flooded their servers on the East Coast, and they got hit with some ransomware. We haven't been able to access the site since last Tuesday (08-04-2020). We were told they were trying to get back up and running by this afternoon, but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.

Thanks for the reply rspicer good info, reached out to some friends at Canon and will share relevant replies if I get them.... Canon tends to be tight lipped, as they should.
