Can anyone tell me if the canon ir4235 can do electronic sort if just has a standard output tray and no finisher? I tried to look at a brochure but it’s unclear if e-sort is standard.
Thanks

It should automatically sort when copying if there is more than one original and making more than one copy but it will not offset

Will that offset sets or complete jobs? Never saw that feature but admittedly never looked for it

So if my customer has no finisher can they make 10 packets with 20 pages in each packet and have them come out of the machine with each packet already stacked together and offset for easy handling?

I had a 4025 with no finisher and could not get it to offset, but maybe the newer 4200 series added that option.I thought without a finisher, you could not offset unless you had a finisher. About 3 years ago,on a 4025 I was able to get it to crisscross by adding a 2-500 sheet pedestal with letter going portrait (crosswise)and landscape(lengthwise), because they also needed legal and ledger application. There space did not allow the finisher to be installed so it was removed. I could not figure out how to offset for the life of me. Thanks, let us know if you were able to get it to offset without a finisher?I am like you Brian, over 35 years and still learning, especially on the networking side. Thanks to all.
