    +1000

It reminds me of an old saying I heard: "If you hear hoofbeats look for horses, not zebras."

Does your Canon have the option to change/lower the network speed?
Defects are simple, our mind is complicated

-I would have thought the same. But if the replacement of a component fixes the issue without ANY change to the network what would that indicate?...

-if the job fails on one machine but on an IDENTICAL one works on the same network that IS reason to believe that there is something machine side.

p.s. it turned out there was a fault with the Hard Drive without a code. confirmed with Canon Grid publication, someone else experienced this. Replaced and now they are printing again, I will keep y’all posted.

    thanks

That's what I was reading for: Duplicate IP!
Take the MFP off the network, then ping the address. If something answers it's not your MFP. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    +1 on an IP Conflict.

I had a customer several years ago that would call WEEKLY that their machine would just "Stop printing", and they had to reboot to get it working again. After several weeks of back and forth, came to find out that one of the delivery guy's iPhone would actually grab the copier's IP address when he came into the shop. Once that was figured out, setting the machine to a different IP address solved the issue.

I would have suggested to their in-house "I.T.-Guy" to reserve the copier's IP address to keep it from happening again, but his troubleshooting skills were limited to "Rebooting the router".
