Canon IR 2870 Error Code E602-0001 HDD Error

Greetings,

I have an issue with multiple IR 2870. It gives the code E602-0001, because the HDD was not inside the machine. After I bought 20 GB PATA HDD to install it in the machine, I learned that you need to format it first. I lack the tools and an instruction to format the HDD. I do have the firmware for the IR 2870 but no SST.
My questions:
-Can anybody provide me the necessary software for the HDD installation?
-Is it also possible to hand out an instruction, on how to do it?

I have never worked with the IR series before and am having troubles with it atm. I am very comfortable working with the newer IRA series but the older machines put me to a test!!
I would appreciate your help very much!

Dear Sir,

thank you for your offer, but i need a proper solution.
I am dealing with copiers, so i have receve a rollback from 60 copiers (2870/3025/3045).
I am trying to arrange a device to clone the HDDs. But its difficult to find a clone unit IDE 2,5" to IDE2.5".

If anybody can provide SST v4.04Eq - New. I think i can solve my matter very well.

You can not fit simply any HDD it has to be on the Canon supported list.

To guarantee to get the correct HDD order an identical one that failed.

Once you have done this upload the firmware using the SST.
