iR2530i not detecting Tray 2

Hi everyone

I know she's an old lady, but I've come across 2x iR2530's with low mileage for a very good price that I'm hoping to restore a bit and sell off for a small profit. The problem that i have with both of these old girls is that neither of them sees Tray 2. If i go to the paper select menu it is not even listed, not even on the little diagram of the machine. does anybody know what the problem could be?

It's been many many many years since I've worked on this model, but I almost remember that i once had this issue and that it was the DC Controller that caused it, but it's been so long I'm not sure.

I haven't really tried anything to resolve yet, like disconnecting and reconnecting connectors and doing an all clear. I will try these and report back on the outcome.

The fact you have two models with the same issue I suspect its a simply case that tray 2 is not connected, maybe previous owner disconnected it to lift/move the machine off the cabinet.
