    Plotter IPF 815

Hi, I have a problem never seen, I am attaching the pictures to explain the situation.
This is a lack of color on some passages on the print and those bands outside the print area.
I thought about the carriage data cable but on visual inspection it shows no wear or breakages.
Has anyone had the same experience?
    Tanks in advance.
Sorry, I have post in a wrong section, please a moderator to move the message, thanks.

I'm going to guess that there is enough dried ink built up on the underside of the carriage that it's smearing at the end of the stroke. After you clean up the bottom of the carriage, you can try a couple of head cleanings. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

After a long time I dusted off this plotter, (waiting for the hp bushings), after turning it back on and printing something the defect is the same!
I removed the purge unit and looked under the carriage, I didn't see any ink spills it's all very clean!
Probably the problem is in the contacts or the flat cable, I will disassemble the cart to check.

The hope is that it is not a problem with the carriage electronic boards.

I checked the carriage, everything is very clean, I removed the flat cable and reversed the 2 identical ones to see if the defect varied.
tried and the defect is identical.
this makes me rule out a problem with the flat cable.
at this point it could be the simplest solution ... defective print head !!
I have old heads but they are dry and in any case with defective nozzles, I will try to clean one to do the test.

Before putting your hands in the electronics, risking to worsen its functioning, perform various head cleanings suggested by B.Cat. Original inks? Expiration date? Greetings
