Canon ImagePress C750 without Fiery

Can you print out the box (using UFR II) without a Fiery? I'm under the impression that you need a printing license for this model. Just want to confirm.

Do you mean straight out of the box? There is a Print license available for the printer when you don't have a controller/RIP.

It depends on the market you are in, what licenses will be standard when you buy the printer. So you need to check with the dealer.


"Out the box"? If you mean send documents to "Mailbox" and print them later by starting them from the display, then yes. You don't need a controller for that function. But you do need a print license :-)

It seems you can because this person can print UFR with his ImagePress 650
UFR is standard , always free as far as I know
