Alot of the time it doesn't need a head...it just needs someone that knows what they are doing to service it
As technicians we all throw parts at machines from time to time. I have been in this business longer than this Phil fake guy has been alive. Phil is a wise guy who seems to think that is Rep rating has anything to do with copier service. He is rude, and he speaks to "newbies" like they are dogs and he has no business on this forum whatsoever and if he thinks he's going to get me banned he is sadly mistaken. Copytech.net knows who i am. I am Michael Gingell of Advanced Copier Solutions of Silver Spring MD. Now to Canuck; call me if you need some help with your IPF670 because ive sold about 25 of them. Heres the number. 301-890-8800. I can also get you a dealer price on parts. -Michael

I know your kind of so called "service maanger". Telling the customer that its there heating and A/C or cheap paper thats causing the problem. You need to resign Phil. Nobody cares about your worthless incredible 10,000 posts on this website. What technician makes 10,000 posts? Answer: A TROLL.

If you do nozzle checks in service mode(un-compensated) and colours mix or huge bare areas in one color, check for air bubbles in the ink lines, etc. If there are, absorbers could be plugged or ink lines plugged(usually at carriage..easily flushed out).
Your info makes sense and i will look into this. In general we shouldnt have all these clogs.

Try running about 100 prints and maybe it will blow the nozzles clear. Running a few cleanings and nozzle checks somtimes isnt enough at all. And dont use simple green to clean any print head. You can order inkjet nozzle cleaner on Ebay such as Magic Bullet cleaner from the UK.
