IRADv6055 jamming every time J0113

Hi all,

i'm a bit stuck with this jamming issue.

Machine will work fine if doing single or double side copies however when I try to print say a counter page or print from a PC the machine will jam.

Setting the machine to face up mode it will print the counter pages etc ok.

hello my friend ,

first of all is the paper jammed being damaged on Leading side ?

as per your description there seems to be slipping or an obstacle in the turn unit towards exit paper path .

kindly dismanlte the turn unit , clean all the rollers and their followers, replace the feeding rollers if they seem warn . clean all the bushings and i prefer to put few drops of oil on them . better replaced with the new ball bearing as mentioned in the pdf above.

the turn unit body if there is any rust on them from the inside better smoothen it with a sand paper .

you can also check the things listed in the photos .

Never had much luck by adding an extra wrap. Printing from PC shouldnt matter. Sounds like its intermitent and fooling you. Check any cluches that my be involved.

Bad sensor maybe? Try new one for about 6.95 or so. Worth a try.

my friend there is no clutches related to this issue .

Replacing parts isnt my first choice when I try to fix any problem .

So trying to adjust the spring tension sometimes fixes the issue .

Thanks for the info, I believe the issue maybe with the Delivery reverse drive assembly, next time i'm doing a PM will order this part.

No cluch involved with pushing paper thru the machine? Theres always a cluch involved somewhere.

Because they use stepper motors now instead of clutches, when the bushings in the delivery assembly get gummed up, the load causes the stepper motor for the delivery drive to stall(old DC motors never stalled..ran all the time, Dcon turned clutches on and off for operation usually). As mentioned, do the mod and get rid of the bushings in the delivery assembly. Bearings will take the load off and you probably won't need to replace the delivery drive assembly. It sucks changing the delivery drive..big time..I've done a few
