    Canon IR Adv C5045 TCP/IP detecting able to manage via web, not printing though

    Hello All,

    I have Canon IR Adv C5045

    I am able to print through USB however when i install printer on Mac through TCP/IP - it says unable to verify printer, but when logging in through web browser I am able to log in and manage.

    no error is shown however when i print command through TCP/IP after installing skip verification printer shows idle, on command it changes to in use but print fails, saying printer not responding.

    kindly help.

    I assume you have a problem with one computer and others can print normally?

    Print problem is with all computers, including PC, Mac, Android etc etc.

    Problem is with printer.

    Interesting ... Check contact between main controller 1-2.
    Replace utp cable.
    Try connecting directly with your laptop.
    Practice makes perfect

    UTP cable connected to router, it was working earlier, however i can still do web controlling i.e printer remote ui working fine. printer also getting recognized. its just not printing.

    android shows printer is blocking print commands.

    Solved - copier - Function - Clear - option- resolved with 2 restart required -- after option exercising restart, gave 732-8888 errror restart started normally and working fine.

    "732" errors are some type of reader communication error usually on Canons. I would update the firmware for starters. If it comes back, reseat main con 1 and 2,back up rCon,clear it,restore it(or put in service settings manually)
