    Import/Export address book via USB

    Hi all,

    As the title says I have an few C35xx coming out & a few C55xx going in so would save me time if I can use a USB pen to import the address book & network settings if possible via pen drive or is the only option via the RUI ?

    (Settings/Registration) <Management Settings> <Data Management> <Import/Export>
    You can export all the settings information into a USB memory device.

    I haven't tried this method yet

    yes,you can import/export all or selected settings including address book and service mode( with a password) via a usb key as suggested Zoraldhino.

    You can do it among all GEN 3 machines;either via RUI or on the machine itself.This will generate a DCM file.

    This method is very handy and time saving upon installation;so,always keep at hand the DCM files of different models on a usb key;

    On these GEN 3 machines, make it a good habit of generating a DCM file before clearing DCON/RCON/Mncon.This can help you saving a lot of trouble and time
    when you have an issue..

    Take care.

    important thing:
    to import the service modes into the same DCM file, remember to set first
    COPIER>OPTION>USER>SMD-EXPT>1>OK
    then the procedure is correct as indicated by others
