Opinions on what the problem is

    Hi All,

I will be visiting this machine shortly. I'd appreciate any input on what this might be. A drum issue? Something else?

This is on a Canon IR ADV DX C5760. It hasn't had service in several months. Firmware was updated to the latest at last visit about half a year ago.

    Thanks,
    Bret

    The picture is awesome.

They would help if they knew the format of the sample.
    .
On the left sample i see bad drum or developer if you have non oem toner.
Print PG-10 test to see wich color have issue.

    Thanks.

I know the photo is not the best. I think they were trying to not show their entire document.

    Apparently the problem cleared up.

Hopefully next week I can check it out. I'll assume it's a drum or developer and have those on hand in case needed.

    Hi guys,

Following up on an old thread here in case it helps someone in the future. In the end the solution was a new black drum.

The counters were just over 600,000 at the time. I believe that was the first time the black drum had to be replaced since they got the machine.
