    Vertical White streaks--From Fuser???

I have a Canon IRC7055 that has recently started leaving a white streak down the page. PG 5 prints with individual colors indicated that it happens with all colors. I printed a pg 5 with black 255 and interrupted the print. The defect is not visible immediately before the fuser.

    Any thoughts?

Yes, looks like fuser to me. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

What confuses me though is that there’s no visible accumulation of toner in the fuser area and no visible blemish on the fuser belts themselves.

Short of replacing the fuser, is there anything else I can test to confirm that the fuser is causing this?

I am now pretty sure the fuser is the issue.

It appears that the metal film inside the pressure belt has split in two at the white streak. This probably causes leaky induction heater eddy current shenanigans.

Unfortunately all my used fixing assemblies have a bad pressure belt ...

I'll post back once I get the new parts in.

    Thanks.
